Chairman, Ta Ha Foundation
Khayrul is an IT consultant with over 25 years’ experience, primarily working in educational settings. He combines technical expertise with a deep commitment to grassroots service, having worked closely with mosques and charitable organisations in the Muslim community.
An alumnus of the prestigious Brunel University, Khayrul’s foundation in engineering underpins his analytical approach and problem-solving skills. Beyond his professional life, he enjoys travelling—especially visiting places of Islamic heritage, where history, culture, and faith intersect.
Deeply engaged in community activity, Khayrul is passionate about inviting others to Islam and contributing positively to the spiritual and social wellbeing of others. He strives to build bridges, inspire learning, and support shared growth through service.
Kamal Hussain
Co-Chairman, Ta Ha Foundation
Kamal is deeply committed to community engagement and promoting Islam. For over 20 years, he has actively supported initiatives that strengthen Muslim communities, educate others about the faith, and invite people to explore Islam. As Co-Chairman of the Ta Ha Foundation, he brings vision, leadership, and dedication to projects that foster social development, education, and spiritual growth.
With a background as a design consultant, Kamal has worked across digital and print for organisations including Tesco, Arsenal, Shell, and the NHS, as well as charities and local councils. His professional experience in branding, user experience, and creative strategy informs his structured and impactful approach to community projects.
Nasrul Islam
Events Coordinator, Ta Ha Foundation
With over two decades of experience in the education sector, Nasrul has held senior leadership roles that reflect his commitment to academic excellence and community development. His career includes active engagement with Muslim charities and organisations such as the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) and the Association of Muslim Schools (AMS), contributing to initiatives that empower Muslim communities and promote educational advancement.
Holding a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies, Nasrul has a grounded understanding of Islamic history, theology, and culture. His academic journey has been complemented by time spent living and working in the Middle East, enriching his perspective on the diverse cultural and religious landscapes of the region.
Passionate about Islamic heritage, Nasrul enjoys travelling to historical sites and exploring the rich legacy of Islamic civilisation. His interest deepens his appreciation for Islamic history and informs his work in community engagement and outreach. Dedicated to inviting others to Islam, his approach emphasises compassion, knowledge, and respect, building bridges and fostering deeper understanding.
